Empowerment Media strives to tell uplifting and life-changing stories. We currently developing a theatrical feature titled Rebuilding Rome. This incredible true story follows two vastly different men—a Black football star and a White military hero—who overcome their differences, learn to love and trust each other, and ultimately save each other's lives. The screenplay, penned by Christopher Cleveland and Bettina Gilois, the acclaimed writers of Glory Road, Disney's McFarland USA, and the Emmy award-winning TV movie Bessie, promises to deliver a powerful and inspiring narrative.
Empowerment Media’s mission is to inspire and empower young people and families through entertainment. To support this vision, EMI collaborated with Walmart and Procter & Gamble to reintroduce family movies to network television. This partnership resulted in the Family Movie Night franchise, which featured nine movies aired on NBC and FOX.
